The objective of this study was to analyze the association non-communicable chronic diseases (NCDs) with cases hospitalizations and deaths due covid-19. It is a cross-sectional, analytical study, quantitative approach secondary data, collected in Influenza Epidemiological Surveillance Information System, linked Ministry Health - Brazil. variable “covid-19” selected from database, along sociodemographic information (gender, race/color, age group education) clinical (comorbidities, type ventilatory support used, ICU bed stay, case evolution for death or cure), patients reported Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) year 2020, city Campo Grande/MS. 5152 notifications SARS covid-19 were identified, accounting 60.6% 2020 and, these, 64.2% associated comorbidities. Kidney ones that presented highest relative risk need hospitalization an death. presence comorbidities, represented mostly by CNCDs, related greater severity
